Education:
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
- Treat patients under the direction and plan of care established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Carry out therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training.

- Monitor patient response during treatment and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, positioning, and safety.
- Document treatment sessions accurately and promptly in the clinic’s EMR system.
- Maintain a positive, organized, and professional treatment environment.
- Collaborate with therapists, technicians, front office staff, and clinic leadership.
- Ensure patient safety, equipment cleanliness, and compliance with clinic standards.

- Strong understanding of outpatient orthopedic therapy and therapeutic exercise.
- Ability to follow and progress treatment plans within PTA scope of practice.
- Excellent patient engagement and coaching skills.
- Clear communication with patients, therapists, and team members.
